This Privacy Policy explains how LongRun ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use the LongRun mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

We have written this policy in plain language deliberately. If anything is unclear, please contact us at the email address above.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide the App's functionality.

Information you provide directly:

• Email address — collected when you create an account. Used to verify your identity via One Time Password (OTP) and to manage your account.
• Name – collected after account creation to identify you on our services.
• Phone number (optional)

Information collected automatically:

• Device token — collected when you enable push notifications. Used solely to deliver filing alerts to your device.
• Watchlist preferences — the companies you choose to follow within the App. Stored to personalise your feed and notification alerts.

Information we do NOT collect:

• We do not collect any financial information.
• We do not access your contacts, camera, microphone, location, or any other device data.
• We do not collect any payment information. The App is free.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes only:

• To create and manage your account
• To verify your identity when you sign in (via OTP to your email address)
• To send you push notifications about filings from companies on your watchlist
• To maintain and improve the App's performance and reliability

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond what is necessary to operate the App.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third parties for commercial purposes.

We do not use any third-party analytics tools, advertising SDKs, or data brokers.

We may disclose your information only in the following limited circumstances:

• If required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request
• To protect the rights, property, or safety of LongRun, our users, or the public

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure located in India. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls to protect your information from unauthorised access, disclosure, or loss.

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we take reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your email address and associated data within 30 days of your deletion request, except where we are required to retain it by law.

6. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Access — you may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Correction — you may request that we correct inaccurate information
• Deletion — you may request that we delete your account and all associated data
• Notification opt-out — you may disable push notifications at any time through your device settings

7. Account Deletion

You may delete your LongRun account at any time. Account deletion can be initiated:

• From within the App — navigate to Settings > Account > Delete Account
• By emailing us at contact@longrun.one with the subject line 'Account Deletion Request'

Upon deletion, your email address, device token, and watchlist preferences will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

The LongRun App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

9. International Users

LongRun is available worldwide. If you are accessing the App from outside India, please be aware that your information may be transferred to and processed in India, where our servers are located. By using the App, you consent to this transfer.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions with data protection laws, you may have additional rights under those laws, including rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our legal basis for processing your personal data is your consent (given when you create an account) and the performance of our contract with you (providing the App's services). You may withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via a push notification or email, and update the Effective Date at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
